We provide a variety of health services for young people, starting from age 4.

The Xplore Programme

The XPLORE programme provides a friendly, fun and safe environment to help young people and their families lead healthier lifestyles through moving more and eating well.

The programme gives lots of handy tips around healthy eating and activity so families can try new things to improve their health and wellbeing. Xplore also offers ongoing after completing the programme, so that families can maintain their healthy lifestyle.

Xplore is a free 8-week programme aimed at young people aged 4-19 and their families, who are above a healthy weight. If you'd like to refer someone to this service, please click here to complete the referral form.

Young Greenwich School Nursing

The school nursing team are a mix of School Screeners, Health Advisors, Community Staff Nurses and Specialist Community Public Health Nurses. The Nurses are based within hubs and aligned to schools in Greenwich.

School Nursing support families with children and young people aged 5-19 years with their health and wellbeing, including physical, mental and sexual health.

Secondary schools have a named Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) that offers a regular, confidential service for young people. Primary schools have access to the hub nursing team.

Our nurses or advisors are here to support you with any health related matters in a confidential way and safeguarding measures are put in place to protect you.
