LGBTQ+ Youth Groups
METRO Zest is an LGBTQ+ youth group for 13-16s and METRO Shine is an LGBTQ+ youth group for 16-19s (up to 25 with SEND).
We welcome all those on the LGBTQ+ spectrum as well as anyone who is questioning or exploring their identity. METRO Transcend is a fortnightly Zoom group for trans, non-binary and gender diverse under 25s.
These are safe, social spaces to meet other LGBTQ+ young people, engage in creative and informative sessions, get support and have fun. Young people can also participate in outings and events such as Pride in London, UK Black Pride, picnics and theatre trips.
METRO also provides free LGBTQ+ awareness and inclusion training to Greenwich educators.
