On Monday 10 February between 5-7pm, Hawksmoor Youth Hub invites parents, carers and guardians to its open evening. Based in Thamesmead, Hawksmoor Youth Hub is one of Young Greenwich’s four main youth hubs offering a variety of free activities & opportunities to young people across the Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG).
About Young Greenwich
Young Greenwich is the name of the youth services delivered by Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) on behalf of Royal Greenwich. The service offers free activities to young people who live/study in the Borough, aged 10-19 or up to 25 for young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND). In 2019, Young Greenwich was supported by Mayor of London’s Young Londoners Fund to deliver sessions to young people aged 8-12, continuing the great work in the community.
About the Open Evening
The Open Evening will give parents, carers and guardians the opportunity to meet the staff team, members of the youth club and see what Hawksmoor has on offer for people in the community.
There will be a wide range of activities, and areas to showcase what the young people have taken part in, implemented in the community and the impact the youth hub had on them. Attendees of the open evening will also have the opportunity to ask questions, find out Young Greenwich’s referral processes and how to sign young people up for free memberships. Light refreshments will also be provided during the event.
We promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusion so all young people feel welcome and are given an opportunity to take part in our service. This includes young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND).
To confirm your attendance, please email Unit Manager, Claire email@example.com by Monday 3 February.
We look forward to seeing you at Hawksmoor Youth Hub.
