The youth summer programme delivered by Charlton Triangle Homes (CTH) is back for five weeks from Monday 22 July to Friday 30 August. Available to young people aged 6-19 who live in Royal Greenwich, their programme will include a range of action-packed activities to make your summer memorable.
SPORTS & FITNESS
Whether you want to try a new sport or get into shape, there is plenty to do at CTH’s summer programme. Get stuck in with football skills and exciting matches with Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT), Tennis, Tag Rugby, Street Hockey, Cycling over the summer.
ARTS & CRAFTS
Take part in a range of arts & craft workshops and make your own creations including dry clay modelling, jewellery making, decorating masks, acrylic pouring technique painting, and more.
LONDON FIRE BRIGADE COURSE
Thinking about getting some fire brigade experience? The Local Intervention Fire Education (LIFE) is offering young people aged 13-16 a five-day course at Lee Green Fire Station. Get hands on and learn the job of a real firefighter.
CTH AND CHARLTON MANOR SUMMER BOOSTERS
This programme aims to increase your confidence, boost motivation at school and have a positive impact. Take part in a variety of activities at Charlton Manor Primary School including gardening, cooking, and attend Woodlands Farm.
Are you into digital tech? This summer you could be getting hands on with digital media. Get involved with coding animation, music production and t-shirt transfer.
If you’re looking for more, take your music skills to the street with one of Young Greenwich’s partners, Young Urban Arts Foundation (YUAF). This summer, you will have the opportunity to get involved in music production and DJ mixing workshops on YUAF’s media bus with their kitted-out Apple macs and Logic X.
Want to get out of London during the summer? Have a family day out and head over to Vikings Bay beach on Saturday 3 August.
