Ark Greenwich Free School student takes on CACT's work experience programme.

Passionate about maths and physical education, 15 -year-old Yasmin from Ark Greenwich Free School spent a week, undertaking her work experience with Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT). Based between Valley Central Youth Hub and other locations in Royal Greenwich & Bexley, Yasmin took on both theoretical & practical work in different departments including CACT’s Young Greenwich and Football Sports & Development. Here's how she found her work experience

Why did you want to get involved with this particular work experience?

I enjoy sport and thought this work experience would show me a new side to a football club.

How was your experience at Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT)?

My experience at CACT was enjoyable because everyone was very friendly.

What was it like working with the management and other staff?

The staff were all welcoming and made me feel good about working there.

How did you feel about your time at CACT?

I feel as though it was a good experience for me as I learnt about working in a professional environment.

Would you recommend other people to have their work experience with CACT?

I would recommend other people to have their work experience here because I feel as though they would like to work CACT.
