Morrisons Champions Youth Support: Food Drive Delivers Big for Hawksmoor Youth Hub

On Saturday, 6th July, Morrisons Community Champion Cherie Barnett organised a community food bank drive at the Thamesmead store to support the Hawksmoor Youth Hub during the summer. Cherie, a dedicated supporter of our youth hubs, has consistently offered her assistance, and this year was no exception. Thanks to her efforts and the generosity of local Thamesmead shoppers, we received two full trolleys of groceries. Additionally, Morrisons provided a £200 voucher to help support young people with food provision for Summer 2024.

During these unprecedented times, when the cost of living and food poverty is affecting many, including the families of those in our youth hubs, it is heartening to have such local support. We want to thank Cherie, the Morrisons team, and the community for their generous contributions and unwavering support.
