Stop Motion Animation Workshop

Stop Motion Animation is captured one picture at a time, with tiny changes each time so so when it’s played back rapidly it looks like objects or pictures are moving. You’ll probably already be familiar with stop motion through famous films like Wallace and Gromit and The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Stop Motion Animation Workshop is a brilliant way to flex your imagination. During the workshop, we use paper cut-out animation as it's a great starting point for aspiring animators. We will set a challenge for each group that enables them to be creative, and is designed to link to the last part of the film and the next part of the film, so that all the clips link together by the end of the day.
